DIPLOMA IN MULTIMEDIA

This course is to expose the students with grammatical skill, reading skill and different types of writing in English language. It also increase the students’ awareness, understanding and usage of English language in an academic setting. Strengthen students’ ability to speak, read and writing in English language by using proper language mechanics.

In this course, students will be introduced to the elements and principles of design as they explore an array of drawing techniques whereby they will be provided with specific drawing experiences and to build basic perceptual skills in terms of drawing. Students will experiment with different media in creating art projects, as they develop their own personal vision.

This syllabus for this course covers the basic system and applications of computer relevant in conducting business operations.  It covers topics such as the computer system, internet explorer introduction, and few other topics related to computer application.  This course will also introduce students to the application packages widely used in business setting such as word processing and database management systems.

This module explores graphic communication through the understanding of the elements and principles of design, as well as the design process, including idea development through final execution. Students develop basic skills in two-dimensional design, colour and content creation while employing the design process of research, sketching and experimentation.

Art of the Western tradition (paintings, sculptures and architecture etc.) from Paleolithic to Baroque to Rococo, including Ancient Near-East, Egyptian, Islamic and Oriental influences and extends as far as Impressionism, and concludes with Modern and Contemporary.

This course is to expose the students to the importance of English as medium to develop content for multimedia elements such as text, image, audio, video and animation. The students interpersonal skills are further developed and improved through communication etiquette and presentation.

This module provide a basic knowledge for the development of programming skill covering all aspects like implementation of algorithms, C++inherits the syntax, primitive types and flow control statements and also object-oriented concepts such as classes, object & Inheritance
