ACTIVITIES AND PROTOCOLS FOR CEREMONY GRADUANDS AND GUESTS

Action Brief explanation
Graduands and Guest Arrival Process
a. Graduands and guests to follow the instructions at the health screening counter which established at the entrance to record the guest attendance and to carry out the temperature screening. Graduands and guests with a body temperature above 37.5 Celsius are not allowed to enter.
b. Graduands and guests clean their hands with hand sanitizer.
c. While graduands and guests wait their turn at the screening counter, a physical distance of at least 1 meter will be observed in accordance with the markings set by the organizers.
d. Graduands and guests are required to wear a face mask at all time.
e. Individuals with chronic illnesses are advised not to attend events.
Registration of Graduands and Guest
a. Graduands and guest must register themselves using either MySejahtera or manual registration
During function
a. Take the position as marked or set by the organizer.
b. Avoid close conversations.
c. Eat in a confinement position and do not congregate during meals.
d. Not crowded in elevators and toilets or any space where the event is organized.
e. It is forbidden to gather or assemble outside the ceremony hall before or after the ceremony.
f. Leave the venue in an orderly and uncrowded manner.
Photography session
a. Photography sessions with physical spacing one at a time.
b. Provision of an attendant to control the flow of graduands and guests during the photography session.


ACTIVITIES AND PROTOCOLS FOR CEREMONY
BALLROOM PROTOCOL

1. Working hours :
The morning session will be at 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.*

Afternoon session will be at 2.00pm to 5.00pm.*

From 12pm to 1.30pm rearrangement for afternoon session.*

Organizer and team are expected to enter around 7:30 am before students arrive.

Graduands and parents will be using North Gate Entrance. Staff will be using the West Gate Entrance.

2. Graduands time :
Graduands will enter the Ballroom starting from 8.00 am.

Graduand are required to be seated in the hall before 8.30 am (morning session) and 1.45 pm (afternoon session) are advised to have their breakfast or lunch as well as, for the Muslims, to perform their solat before participating in at the ceremony.

It is anticipated that the ceremony will take a long time. Graduates are not allowed to leave the hall before the convocation ceremony have been concluded.
3. Materials to bring :
The guests need to bring their own hand sanitizer and a piece of mask.

The staff and graduands to use MAHSA University mask.*

After end of every session of receiving degree the graduates are encourage to use hand sanitizer and remain seated in their original seat.

The graduates will exit the ballroom in group of 50. Mask must be worn at all time.

Note: *Mask will be sold at the entrance
4. On Stage :
As the graduate received their degree they need to follow one-way direction in order return to their seat.

No hand shake upon receiving the degree.
